Status: Non-Exempt; Full-Time

This is a temporary position anticipated to last for no more than 90 days.
Compensation: $20 an hour
SummaryThe role of the Accounts Payable Assistant is to assist in the processing of payments for goods and services purchased by the company.
Essential Functions:
- Process / close all parts receivers
- Run end of month for all open purchase orders every 2nd of the month
- Check inventory in warehouse when needed
- Coding of all parts invoices
- Posting of invoices into payable system
- Print Hitachi, Mack and Volvo invoices
- Assist in reconciling Hitachi, Mack and Volvo Statements
- Communicating / reconciling disputed Parts / Freight invoices with Parts department and Vendors
- Assist co-workers in locating invoices, purchase orders and bills of lading
- Back up to receptionist, covering breaks, lunches, and opening/closing as needed
- Other duties as assigned

- Associate Degree in finance or accounting (preferred not required)
- Two years of finance or accounting experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications, Adobe, Windows 10, iOS
- SharePoint, and/or CRM experience a plus
This is largely a sedentary role, requiring use of typical office equipment such as a computer, laptop and cell phone. Must be able to answer and manage a high volume, multiple line phone system. Most work is completed in an office environment. The employee will be required to stand, walk, bend and will occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
