Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and crafting delicious beverages for our guests. This is a fast-paced and dynamic role that requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take drink orders and serve beverages promptly
- Prepare and mix a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
- Ensure accuracy in measuring ingredients and following recipes
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Monitor alcohol consumption and prevent over-serving
- Provide recommendations on drink selections to customers
- Upsell additional food and beverage items
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Bartender in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of catering and event bartending is preferred
- Familiarity with basic math for handling cash transactions
- Proficiency in using cash registers and POS systems (e.g., Aloha POS)
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Cash handling experience is required
- Time management skills to ensure efficient service
