Key Circle Commons is Hiring a bartender Near Mountain, AL

key circle commons in English Village is looking for experienced bartenders with craft cocktail and high volume experience. Those with a vested interest in creating original recipes, and recreating tried and true classics with respect and painstaking accuracy, as well as producing as many of our ingredients in house ourselves from scratch to suit our intentions, and respecting the source and the process of the ingredients we put into everything, then you will be moved to the front of the line. This is a legitimate platform for a passionate creative, driven bartender to thrive. If you think you have those qualities and can perform them consistently without sacrificing any basic tenets of hospitality, you can seek employment no more, for you have found your forever job!

The name
Key Circle is a historic Birmingham ‘roundabout’ located at the top of Red Mountain. It’s the intersection of the south side of downtown Birmingham and “over the mountain” suburban areas that were populated as Birmingham grew and people moved out of the increasingly commercial city center. “Commons” implies a gathering place where people come together to share company and conversation. Our goal is to be a consistent, charming, tried and true neighborhood establishment. We believe firmly in neighborhood, sense of place, local color, historical reverence, belonging, respecting our terroir, its local flavor and history, and its people. We are classic and timeless, but also new and exciting. We are steeped in tradition, yet always trying new things and creating. We respect the classics while pushing ourselves to reinvent and pioneer.

Service
We are always welcoming and warm but never intrusive or nosy. We respect the community and intimate conversation but also recognize the importance of privacy and space. We anticipate the needs of our guests with a silent gesture, nod or refill but also welcome and nurture the connectivity of an intimate conversation.

Elegant, timeless, classic, balanced, sophisticated, cozy, unpretentious, warm, inviting, welcoming, knowledgeable, humble, and confident.

We respect the seasons, the producers, artisans and farmers. We revere and admire the true craft of the cocktail as much as the craft of the victual. We build and prioritize relationships with local farmers, artisans and producers. We rely on relationships with our purveyors and lean on their knowledge to forge a new and unique path forward for our community, our staff and our business.
