Connecticut Healthcare Consultants. P.C. is Hiring a Medical Assistant Near Stamford, CT
- Conduct urinalysis, EKG, body composition analysis and ABI testing
- Assist physician by obtaining patient vitals and histories, preparing laboratory forms and exam rooms, obtaining/reviewing patient laboratory results and performing other clinical duties as required.
- Assists with administrative duties including, but not limited to, greeting patients and visitors, checking patients in and out and obtain the necessary documentation. Answering phones and scheduling patients. Obtaining and verifying insurance authorizations/precertification.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One year experience in a physician's office setting
- Knowledge of primary medical practice and patient care
- Knowledge of EHR (Athena preferred)
