The Contact Center Telephone Medical Assistant/Contact Center Agent II is responsible for performing all the responsibilities of a Contact Center Agent I, mentor new hires, handle inbound and chat calls for all specialties and repeat calls. The incumbent will also answer incoming calls from our patients and internal staff to provide outstanding customer service. Perform clinical care, via telephone, essential to the promotion, maintenance and restoration of patientÂ’s health and wellness using our telephone communications and physician protocols. This position is expected to assure and deliver consistent performance that achieves the highest level of satisfaction to SHMG patients and providers.
Primarily follow outlined physician protocols to report urgent clinical symptoms by immediately consulting with appropriate clinical staff via telephone from the Medical Office Building and/or other offices and perform scheduling functions from all practices during peak periods and heavy call volume.
