About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President to lead partnership initiatives, driving sponsorship revenue, strategy, and activation. This role is pivotal in collaborating with various teams including marketing, content, public relations, and basketball operations to reinforce the values and strategy of the franchise in the business community. The successful candidate will be responsible for market strategy, sales approach, and results, as well as for hiring and managing a partnership development team. They will also be expected to ensure that all partnerships are executed to the highest standard, develop an engagement strategy for partners, and work with the insights team to set new standards in the measurement of variables in women's sports.Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in business administration, sports management, or equivalent work experience, and at least 10 years of partnership sales/management, storytelling, project management, and leadership experience in a high-profile industry. A strategic and creative thinker with a deep understanding of current marketing trends, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing sponsorship and activation budgets, as well as experience in leading diverse teams to achieve goals. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent communication skills, and the ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment are essential. A passion for the game of basketball and a commitment to representing the growth and momentum of women's sports are also key requirements for this role.
