About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Engineering with a strong passion for leading engineering teams and a commitment to delivering value through new ideas and pathways. This senior leadership role is pivotal in the design and execution of state-of-the-art Biogas and Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) facilities, with a focus on achieving results that align with the organization's strategic goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and mentoring a diverse team of engineering professionals, driving the development of engineering standards and processes, and overseeing the full project lifecycle from conceptual design to handover. A firm, goal-oriented leadership style is essential, as is the ability to build and maintain client relations, and a dedication to safety and continuous improvement.Applicants for this role at the company must have a Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant engineering discipline, a minimum of 15 years of RNG engineering-related experience, and a Professional Engineering Registration. The role requires a proven track record of at least 10 years in supervising engineering staff for large-scale projects, with a minimum of 5 years in an RNG project design environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills, and the ability to interface with cross-functional teams at all levels. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills are also essential, as is the willingness and ability to travel as needed. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software is expected, and a background in process design or operations and maintenance is a significant advantage.
