About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of IT with a proven track record in IT leadership, particularly in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of all aspects of information technology, setting the vision and direction to achieve strategic technology and business objectives. This includes overseeing a team of internal IT professionals and external consultants, supporting primary business systems and applications, and ensuring the proper evaluation, development, implementation, operation, and monitoring of technology and information systems globally. The role also involves managing IT capital investment, cyber security, disaster recovery planning, and driving efficiency through technology integration as part of a continuous improvement program.Applicants must have at least 10 years' of IT leadership experience at the mid to upper management level, with a strong background in system development and implementation life cycles, including experience with multiple ERP platforms. A degree in IT, computer science, or a related field is required, with an advanced degree preferred. The VP of IT will be expected to be a recognized expert in IT systems and practices, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with business leaders to understand and meet the technology needs of the organization. The role also involves building and developing high-performing teams, so proficiency in leading and motivating teams is essential.
