This executive-level position is pivotal in providing strategic guidance on federal regulatory issues, particularly those impacting the energy sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key regulatory, executive, and legislative bodies, with a focus on the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). The role involves educating and influencing regulators, stakeholders, and policymakers, as well as monitoring and engaging in relevant rulemakings. The VP will work closely with internal and external partners to promote the company's regulatory positions and to achieve its public policy objectives.Applicants must have a minimum of a four-year college degree and at least 15 years' of professional experience, with a significant portion in the federal regulatory arena. A deep understanding of the federal regulatory and legislative processes, as well as the energy industry's key issues, is essential.
