Confidential is Hiring a Service Manager Near Nanuet, NY
Our client is seeking a Service Manager to join their team! Our client is offering a compensation and benefits package for this role with a starting salary of $45,000-$55,000 per year commensurate with experience with opportunity for growth. We also offer health benefits after 90 days, and a 401k with employer match, paid time off, and vacation time as well as a Monday-Friday schedule from approximately 8am to 5pm.
Service Manager roles and responsibilities:
- Scheduling appointments with customers
- Tracking appointment schedules
- Answering phone calls and inquiries from customers; handling client disputes and resolving client concerns as needed
- Supporting work done by vendors and subcontractors by answering their questions, responding to inquiries, and providing general service and support
- Accounts Receivables including billing and invoicing on client accounts and recording payments
- Entering work order information into the system as provided by our technicians, following up with technicians to ensure work order information is received and accurate
- Other duties as assigned
Service Manager requirements:
- 3 years of experience working in administrative or customer support roles in an office setting, ideally within the service industry such as architecture, construction, landscaping, electricity, heavy equipment, planning or a similar field
- Demonstrated proficiency with navigating and using technology including CRMs and Microsoft Office and a proven track record of learning new technology and picking up systems quickly
- Must be experienced in using the internet as a daily research tool and comfortable with navigating various web applications as well as learning new systems
- A demonstrated ability to learn, understand, and execute established processes and procedures
- The ability to work independently while serving as part of an office team
- Experience with ChatGPT is a plus, but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
