We’re currently in search of an Elementary Homeschool teacher to teach our three children, in person in our home, Monday to Friday 10-4pm YEAR ROUND!!

We are located in the Miami Shores Area Zipcode 33138

You would need their own vehicle and be willing to drive to our house daily.

Currently our children are learning grades 4, 7 and 8 and we have had the same teacher for the last 2 years.

She will be missed but however has decided to move into a different line of work.

Our three kids play competitive hockey and with that said our schedule requires some flexibility as we have to miss quite a few days from school and or shortened days due to travel and training. Therefore each week may be adjusted based on our schedule, but our educator should be available and can expect to work between 10am-4pm Mon- Fri

Our successful candidate must be an experienced Elementary or High school teacher who is organized, structured, punctual, patient and adaptive to our chosen method of education.

We utilize the standard educational Curriculums along with various online platforms and educational books to educate our kids as well as encourage trips to the library, and educational field trips.

Our goal and focus is not to limit the level of education taught based on a particular school year. For example if our younger student is understanding our older child’s studies we encourage them to all take part together. This has allowed our kids to learn at their own pace.

This teaching role requires fluency and proficiency in English with strong math skills.

Our kids are also currently learning Spanish so it would be a benefit if the right teacher were able to speak and educate in Spanish.

It is also required that you are able to work in the USA.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the curriculum program and report such plans in advance of each week through google docs or similar platform.
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students
- Provide instruction in various subjects such as math, literacy, science, language studies
- Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
- Utilize effective classroom management strategies to maintain a productive learning environment
- Provide individualized support and tutoring to students as needed
- Implement strategies to promote student engagement and participation in the classroom

Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification or license
- Experience working with children, preferably in a classroom setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Familiarity with literacy education strategies and techniques

Pay: $3,500.00 per month
