General Description of Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the VP of Regional Operations, the Regional Program Director will be responsible for programs operational success of the regional programs by ensuring seamless team management and development, program delivery, and quality control and evaluation.
Specific Duties:
1. Carry Out the strategic plan for program expansion and growth.
2. Oversight and Supervise, Supervisors, Program Specialist and Administrative staff.
3. Responsible for recruitment and new hire on-boarding.
4. Forecast staffing needs and develop an action plan to prevent shortage of staffing across programs.
5. Work with the VP of Regional Operations for all new hires.
6. Assist in the oversight and management of local services.
7. Collaborate with Dr. of Clinical Services and Admissions on new admissions and discharges.
8. Become a Medication Administration train the trainer.
9. Becomes a certified investigator.
10. Train new hires and oversee orientation when necessary.
11. Assist in the identification and approval of new sites.
12. Team Management and Development: evaluate the skill, experience, and professional development needs of staff.
13. Knowledge and understanding of incident management and investigative reporting.
14. Become proficient in all systems: Therap and Incident Management, Bamboo and ADP.
15. Implement a professional development program to address employee experience and skill gaps.
16. Utilize performance measurements across all sites, to ensure consistent, high-quality evaluation and goal setting for all employees.
17. Strength in hiring, recruiting, managing, developing, coaching, and retaining individuals and teams, empowering them to elevate their levels of responsibility, span-of-control and performance.
18. Deep understanding of human resources, employee performance improvement plans, and corrective action policies.
19. Program Operational Management: establish consistent, objective program performance standards of accountability.
20. Make sure sites and participant care are always up to our standard of quality and excellence.
21. Represent the agency in the community and participate in community initiatives on behalf of the agency.
22. Attend agency meetings relative to participants and executive team meetings.
23. Assist in the oversight of licensing: preparation, site quarterly and actual licensing.
24. Have thorough knowledge and understanding of billing for our services.
25. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
The minimum professional qualifications for Regional Program Director are master’s degree and two years in Human Services, bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience including upper-level management experience.

4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to details

16. Medication administration certification.

18. Valid driver’s license (Must have a vehicle).
19. Crisis intervention training (i.e. nonviolent crisis intervention, positive approach, etc)
20. CPR, First Aid and AED.
21. Must clear background investigations.
