Location: NAS Whidbey Island State of Washington. First American Business is seeking an Inside Cable Plant technician (ISP) to be located on-site at NAS Whidbey Island Washington. This is for a 3-year contract with strong possibility of additional 5 years.
The skillsets required are as follows: Inside Plant (ISP) Technician (Key Personnel--Resume Submission and Approval Required) Individual shall possess a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in operation and maintenance of tactical, or commercial, telecommunications equipment. Specific experience is required in the following areas: a. Experience with Avaya Definity_G3_9 Battery Plant.
b. Experience with Avaya S8710, Network Management System and Callware Callegra voice mail system.
c. Experience with Meridian 1, Option 11C
d. Minimum 1 (one) year experience operating and maintaining Meridian 1, Option 81/61, Network Management System, Nortel Call Pilot.
e. VOIP Technology
f. IAT Level II Certified IAW DoD 8570.01-M
g. System Administration experience for Avaya/Nortel products to include residing operating systems such as Windows Server 2003, Red Hat Linux, and Windows 7/10.
h. 3M program (commercial equivalent may be acceptable with prior Government approval).
i. Knowledge of DISA and military directives applicable to communications station operations of the installed automated telephone switch components.
j. Certificate of successful course completion from OEM authorized training facilities for equipment listed in PWS and this document.
k. Be familiar with Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) as it applies to each site’s current configurations.
