We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Membership and Accounting Specialist to join our team. As the Membership and Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for managing membership records, financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, account reconciliation, and records management. Responsibilities include - Entering membership information from applications, entering financial data into QuickBooks, and maintaining accurate records for the organization - Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data - Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements - - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper recording of financial transactions - Provide support during audits and assist in the implementation of audit recommendations - Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance Experience - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or commensurate experience - Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office Suite - Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills If you are a dedicated professional with a passion for numbers and a strong understanding of accounting principles, we would love to hear from you.
