Confidential is Hiring a Medical Practice Administrator Near , NJ

We are currently seeking an exceptionally organized and motivated Medical Practice Administrator to oversee the smooth operation of our medical practice. This role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities, including corporate compliance, billing and collections, bookkeeping, electronic health records, human resources, professional credentialing, payor and vendor contracting. Our ideal candidate will possess a robust knowledge base in billing and EHR/practice management software, coupled with additional expertise in compliance, bookkeeping, and marketing.

Position is located in the Ocean City / Atlantic City, NJ area.

Salary is commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Corporate Compliance:

  • Ensure strict adherence to all relevant healthcare laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to uphold compliance within the practice.

Billing and Collections:

  • Oversee all billing processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Manage collections efforts and promptly address any billing discrepancies or issues.

Bookkeeping/Accounts Payable:

  • Maintain meticulous financial records and oversee accounts payable.
  • Generate financial reports as needed for analysis and strategic decision-making.

Electronic Health Records (EHR):

  • Lead the implementation and optimization of EHR systems.
  • Provide comprehensive staff training on proper use of EHR software and ensure data integrity and security.

Human Resources and Employment Contracting:

  • Spearhead staff recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives.
  • Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures to foster a positive work environment.
  • Oversee all aspects of employment contracting processes.

Professional Credentialing:

  • Coordinate the credentialing process for physicians and other healthcare providers.
  • Ensure all providers maintain requisite licensure and certifications.

Payor Contracting:

  • Engage in negotiations with insurance providers and payors to secure favorable contracts.
  • Monitor reimbursement rates and facilitate timely contract renewals as necessary.

Vendor Contracting/Supply Procurement:

  • Identify and contract with reliable vendors for essential supplies and services.
  • Nurture vendor relationships to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Previous experience in medical practice management or healthcare administration is highly valued.
  • Proficiency in billing and EHR/practice management software.
  • Familiarity with employment law, compliance regulations, and principles of bookkeeping.
  • Experience in healthcare marketing is considered advantageous.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with physicians and fellow practice administrators.
  • Ability to navigate within a larger multi-divisional orthopedic entity while prioritizing the individual practice's requirements.
  • Clinical experience is a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • This position is primarily office-based within the medical practice.
  • Occasional travel may be required for meetings, conferences, or vendor negotiations.
  • Flexible working hours may be necessary to accommodate the dynamic needs of the practice.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and sitting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $115,000.00 per year
