Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of assigned routes
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods to customers
- Monitor route performance and make adjustments as needed to optimize efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any issues or delays
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and address any recurring problems
- Utilize transportation management systems to track and manage route activities
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Conduct business analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
Skills:
-Must have Experienced with Omnitracs (Roadnet Anywhere)
-Routing and Strategic planning experience.
- Strong knowledge of SQL for data analysis and reporting purposes
- Proficient in root cause analysis techniques to identify underlying issues
- Excellent research skills to gather relevant information for decision-making
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) for route planning and tracking
- Ability to perform data collection, analysis, and interpretation
- Knowledge of lean principles for process optimization and waste reduction
