**Job Summary:**
This position is responsible for various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and benefits administration. Qualified candidates must be responsible, detail-orientated and are required to have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal). They must possess strong problem-solving skills, time management skills, have the ability to multitask, and prioritize projects and requests from senior management. They must maintain and safeguard confidential information and have the ability to work in a team environment.
**Duties:**
- Full cycle recruiting from basic screening to in-person interviews. Conduct pre-employment testing.
-Onboarding new hires to ensure they are being trained in accordance to the company’s compliance and employment policies. Ensure all employment documents are completed accurately.
-Maintaining physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits and attendance records
-Scheduling monthly benefits meetings, 401(k) meetings, as well as oversee annual open enrollment process.
- Timely respond to employee inquiries.
-Understand and adhere to all pertinent federal, state and local employment laws, and general HR processes.
-Report and maintain accurate workers’ compensation records, including first report of injury, follow up appointments, reporting online to carrier, etc.
-Administer FMLA for the dealership and maintain accurate tracking records for each individual employee as well as dealership-wide monthly as required.
-Prepare reports as needed/requested, including monthly turnover reports, FMLA reports, OSHA log, EEO-1 reports and any other reports requested by senior management.
-Educate employees regarding the company’s policies.
-Promote a positive and open work environment for all employees.
-Assist supervisors and managers with employee disciplinary matters.
**Requirements:**
- 2-3 years Human Resources Generalist experience required
- Previous automotive experience preferred, but not required
- Proficient in all Microsoft office applications
-Experience with ADP Workforce preferred and prior experience processing payroll
-Professional attitude, interpersonal skills and attire required- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
Bilingual – fluent in Spanish and English
