Job Title: Education Director (Preschool)

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly strong, motivated and experienced Education Director to join our reputable preschool. As the Education Director, you will play a crucial role in shaping and overseeing the educational programs and curriculum for our preschool. You will be responsible for providing leadership, guidance, and support to our teaching staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality early childhood education.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive and developmentally appropriate curriculum for the preschool, aligned with relevant educational standards.
  • Provide leadership and support to the teaching staff, including hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating their performance.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of children.
  • Collaborate with teachers to plan and implement engaging and interactive lessons that stimulate children's curiosity and love for learning.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of the curriculum and teaching methods, making necessary adjustments to improve student outcomes.
  • Maintain open communication with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress, and addressing any concerns or questions.
  • Stay up to date with the latest research, trends, and best practices in early childhood education to ensure the program remains current and effective.
  • Oversee the implementation of appropriate assessments and evaluations to measure student progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other administrative staff to maintain compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and accreditation requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, A teaching certification is preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Education Director or a similar leadership role in a preschool or early childhood education setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of child development principles, early childhood education theories, and best practices.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of teachers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff, parents, and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop and implement curriculum frameworks that meet educational standards and promote holistic child development.
  • Familiarity with relevant licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and accreditation requirements for preschools.
  • Proficiency in educational technology and its integration into the curriculum.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • CPR and First Aid certification a must.
  • Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children.
