Job Overview:
This position offers a 5 day work week, year round salary and benefits, with most weekends worked and varied days of work schedule.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operation of our facilities. As a Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of our outside facility, buildings and equipment. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the maintenance and repair of all facilities
- Manage a staff of 3-4 employees
- Operate equipment to include tractors, company vehicles and forklifts
- Manage and oversee external contractors for specialized repairs or projects
- Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement or repair
- Have basic skills in electric, plumbing, carpentry and mechanics
- Collaborate with other departments to address facility-related issues
- Oversee the procurement of necessary supplies and equipment
- Manage budgets and expenses related to facility maintenance
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and general building maintenance
- Proven experience in facilities management or a related field
- Ability to supervise and lead a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- - Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
