About the Role

The Company is in search of an Executive Director to lead its strategic and operational endeavors, with a focus on delivering value to its global membership. The successful candidate will be tasked with maintaining and growing the organization as a dynamic and inclusive association, leading global trends in the field, and responding to the diverse needs of its members. This role requires a proven leader with a minimum of 10 years' experience, including at least 3 years in an executive-level position within a membership-driven or relevant organization. The Executive Director will be responsible for all aspects of the organization, including governance, strategic planning, financial management, staff leadership, and engagement, as well as fostering strategic partnerships and leading advocacy efforts. Applicants must have an advanced degree in a relevant field, experience with nonprofit board governance, and a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The role demands a strategic thinker, a diplomatic yet decisive manager, and an active listener with strong emotional intelligence. The ideal candidate will have a background in financial management, experience in cultivating non-dues revenue, and a proven track record of engaging and growing a diverse membership. Proficiency in information technology and the ability to communicate effectively with multilingual and multicultural stakeholders are essential. The Executive Director will also be expected to be a change agent, capable of building on the organization's successes while being responsive to new opportunities, and to be open to domestic and international travel.
