About the Role

The Company is seeking a Director of Policy for the organization. This role is pivotal in leading the organization's policy department, which is focused on engaging young people in issues of sexual health, reproductive rights, and gender equity. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping young individuals connect with local and federal decision-makers, working closely with the field team to create political power that can influence policy and cultural change at national and state levels. The Director of Policy will also be involved in member development, civic engagement, and national coalitions, and must have a strong commitment to reproductive health and rights and/or social justice issues.Candidates for the Director of Policy position at the organization should have a deep understanding of and dedication to the organization's values, including justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion. The role requires experience in national and/or state policy change, as well as excellent training skills. The ideal candidate will be passionate about reproductive and social justice, and ready to lead in a dynamic, progressive environment. The position involves managing a team of policy and movement building directors and demands a proactive, engaged approach to working across the progressive landscape.
