Retail company looking for a responsible Delivery Driver to safely and efficiently distribute items between stores, home office and directly to customers.
- Responsibilities : *
- Deliver a wide variety of items to different locations in the Washington DC and Capital Beltway area
- Weekly junk removal / dump runs
- Safely load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery van
- Follow routes and schedules
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
- All other duties as assigned by management
- Requirements and skills : *
- Experience as a delivery driver
- Experience operating a delivery truck or van
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to safely transport fragile materials
- Clean driving record
- Valid driver’s license
- Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading of goods
