Confidential is Hiring a Customer Support Specialist Near Devens, MA

Overview

We are an independently operated print shop and we're seeking a candidate for the role of Customer Support Specialist. The position involves working with our customers on finding the right product/service for their print/marketing needs. You will be assisting with quote requests, shipping products, and managing print jobs on our copy machines. Candidate must have strong communication and problem-solving skills, be detail oriented, and have the ability to work well under pressure.

Requirements:

Candidates should be versed in common computer product/skills such as Windows Operating System, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, and Adobe PDF. S/he should also be comfortable operating copy machines, scanners, and wide format printers.

Experience with working directly with customers on custom products/services is preferred. Must have experience in CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Responsibilities:

Duties of the Customer Support Specialist candidate will include but not limited to:

  • Provide general customer service to walk-in customers, over the phone, or via email
  • Operate copiers/printers/scanners/fax service
  • Assist with FedEx shipments, i.e. creating shipping labels and packaging needs
  • Maintain inventory checklist
  • Comfortable using purchase of sale system (Square) to checkout customers
  • Assist in minor print production as needed (folding, simple bindery, collating)
  • Assist clients with initial job creation either in person, on the phone or via email
  • Prepare, package, and ship completed jobs
  • Be able to lift and move boxes weighing up to 25lbs
  • Maintain an orderly, clean, and safe work area/shop

The ideal candidate:

  • Has excellent people and communication skills.
  • Is positive, friendly, and enjoys helping customers achieve their desired results.
  • Is detail oriented, takes good notes, rarely makes mistakes.
  • Is a good learner, interested in graphics design software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Does not get flustered easily under pressure.
  • Is reliable, takes pride in their work, and has good work ethics

Job Type: Part-time 20-30 hours/week

Pay: $15-$18/hr based on experience

Schedule:

  • 4 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
