Confidential is Hiring a Cultivation Manager Near Colorado, CO

Responsible for day-to-day cultivation at a cannabis cultivation facility. The Cultivation Manager will grow, care for and maintain cannabis plants from propagation to harvest. The ideal candidate will be able to utilize technical procedures to apply nutrients, fertilizers, pesticides, and to regulate environmental controls to adjust humidity, temperature, and light levels. Priority is to monitor crop development and maintain quality standards. Focus on detail and priority development are necessary attributes. The Cultivation Manager will report directly to the operations manager.

*JOB QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  • 3 years minimum experience in commercial cannabis operations.
  • Preferred experience with rockwool, drip irrigation, fertigation systems, and LED lighting.
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining an IPM program.
  • Perform cultivation facility tasks including but not limited to cloning, transplanting, vegetation, feeding, nutrient management, defoliation, topping, flushing, foliar feeding, drying/curing, trimming, waste disposal, and pest prevention.
  • Must possess the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of plants, diseases, insects and fungi, as well as plant treatment options.
  • Strong leadership experience
  • Need to be a detail oriented team player with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Candidates must be in good physical condition and able to work in an indoor grow room environment for extended periods of time if needed.
  • Ability to demonstrate high ethical standards and set a positive example for co-workers.
  • Good interpersonal communication, able to work well with others, as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work nights, holidays, and/or weekends - assigned hours will change based on business needs.
  • Ability to tolerate exposure to grow room elements such as heat, cold, water, high humidity.
  • Able to lift 49 lbs and stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to take initiative and work with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations.
  • Other combinations of education and experience which can be demonstrated to result in the possession of the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the duties of this position may be considered.

*DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the grow area to maintain the highest level of product quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
  • Maintain accurate daily activity records and operation logs as directed.
  • Assist staff with daily sanitation and organization of all equipment present within the facility.
  • Communicate effectively.
  • Perform all the tasks in the grow including: cloning, transplanting, fertilizing, defoliation, pruning, IPM and plant schedule.
  • Ensure that all plants are tracked according to company policy and regulatory (METRC) statues throughout the entirety of the crop life cycle.
  • Perform monthly METRC audits to ensure compliance.
  • Track all waste and inventory management.
  • Sets budget for cultivation operations at the cultivation facility.
  • Ensures SOPs are established, approved, and followed.

**SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background screening.
  • Maintain a valid MED Badge.
  • Must sign and adhere to an NDA.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to lift up to 49 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10 hours.
  • Must be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
  • Must be able to climb and descend a ladder safely.
