About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its Executive Management team and take on a strategic role in fiscal management. The CFO will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and control of all financial activities, including accounting, finance, forecasting, legal, HR, and property management. This key leadership position involves providing guidance on short- and long-term financial objectives, conducting financial analysis, and overseeing the annual audit process. The CFO will also be tasked with advising on the financial impact of business activities, managing financial processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Candidates for the CFO role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with an MBA and/or CPA being highly desirable. A minimum of 8 years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles is required, with previous experience in a non-profit setting being preferable. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, problem-solving, integrity, and organizational skills, and be proficient in Excel. Experience with Sage 100 is also preferred. The CFO will have supervisory responsibilities over the accounting department, low vision manager, and HR coordinator, and will be expected to manage at all levels of the organization.
