Seeking a full time, in office, Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Duties

· Accurately prepare invoices according to company policies for assigned customers in various systems, including our ERP system.

· Process and deposit checks daily using a remote deposit scanner.

· Process and record customer payments in our ERP system.

· Manage customer credit card payments and deposits.

· Maintain accurate accounts receivable records and ensure timely application of credits.

· Generate weekly reports regarding the status of customer accounts.

· Initiate collections process on past-due accounts.

· Handle incoming calls and emails from our customers.

· Assist with reporting analysis and ad-hoc reporting.

· Perform general office tasks such as scanning, shredding, and mailing correspondence.

· Cross-train on other accounting tasks to provide backup as needed.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Associate degree with 2 years of experience in an office-based accounts receivable role or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Knowledge of accounting principles.

· Experience in various accounting functions (AR, AP, GL, Bookkeeping).

· Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, xlookups), and Outlook.

· Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP software preferred.

· Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

· Fulltime, in office, Monday-Friday
