Concord Medical Group is looking for a Staff Accountant. This position reports to the Director of Financial Analysis and Reporting. This position is not open for remote work. Position is based in our Flower Mound, TX office. We are looking for someone who can handle the following responsibilities:

• Fully responsible for maintaining books including accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Reviews, codes, and verifies transactions including billings, invoices, checks, and journal entries.
• Reconciles various accounts to source documents; distributes and files financial documents and reports
• Researches processing problems, contacts departments and vendors to resolve problems and expedite payment, and responds to inquiries by telephone or in writing; refers complex problems for solution
• Sorts documents; codes, logs, reviews for accuracy; and verifies invoices for payment

Requirements for Staff Accountant:

• 2 years experience working with QuickBooks Enterprise (Desktop)
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel
• At least 2 years experience in accounting, with account reconciliation, processing of invoices, accounts receivable, and accounts payable is preferred.
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, quick thinker who can handle a fast-paced environment and keep financial data up to date with accuracy.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are required along with courteous, professional manners, and strong customer service skills.
