About the Job*
As a Facilities Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing various renovation and improvement projects within our facilities. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of projects within budget, on schedule, and meeting quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vendor management, budgeting, project timelines, and commercial permits for renovation projects.

Duties*
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives as well as report on milestones and statuses.
Develop project plans, budgets, and timelines, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Identify and engage with vendors and contractors, overseeing the vendor selection process.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to project specifications.
Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or delays to keep projects on track.
Ensure compliance with commercial permits and regulations for renovation projects, handling permit requirements, and coordinating inspections.
Manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and adjusting as needed to maintain targets.
Conduct regular site visits to assess work quality, address concerns, and ensure projects meet quality standards.

Requirements*
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
2-5 years’ experience in overseeing projects with a budget of up to $250,000 .
Proven experience in facilities management or project management, with a focus on renovation projects.
Strong understanding of vendor management principles and practices.
A comprehensive understanding of commercial permits and regulations pertaining to renovation projects is essential.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and compliance.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
