Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA)
Location: Easton, MD
Job Summary: As a Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA), you are critical in caring for elderly residents in long-term care facilities. Your compassionate care helps enhance their quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical and emotional well-being.
- Support residents with mobility and transfers.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment.
- Accurately document care provided.
Requirements:
- Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in Maryland
- Empathy and patience in working with elderly residents. Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- BLS certification
- Knowledge of infection control protocols
Job Types: Contract, Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
