Description
We are looking for a friendly, motivated Front Desk Associate. If you are someone who likes to create strong relationships and build trust, and are known for giving exceptional customer service, then we would love you to join our team!
The Front Desk Associate ensures the smooth operation of the front desk area and provides excellent customer service to residents. You will be the first point of contact for residents and visitors, both in person and over the phone. Your role will involve handling administrative tasks, scheduling appointments and transportation, and maintaining accurate records.
Job responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome residents, visitors, and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Schedule appointments and transportation for residents.
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and provide information or direct inquiries to the appropriate staff member.
- Maintain and organize resident records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning.
- Chart resident appointment notes and new medication orders.
Requirements
Education and experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Previous experience in a medical office or customer service role (1 year preferred)
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Familiarity with scheduling appointments
Knowledge, ability, and skills:
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with people at all levels of the organization, including the executive leadership team, is required.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Office programs
- Basic computer operating skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Customer-focused mindset and ability to provide exceptional resident care
