Job Summary

As the Executive Chef, you are responsible for leading all aspects of all the culinary functions for a high-volume corporate dining account in Hartford, CT.

In this exciting and innovative culinary management role, you will work alongside and lead a team of associates, lead all high-end catering events, and supervise all safety and sanitation as it pertains to the account.

Additionally, as part of the culinary team, you will be responsible for the following:

Key Responsibilities:

Manages cost controls and controls expenditures for the account
Plans and crafts all menus including high-end catering
Purchases and manages inventory
Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with marketing and culinary team
Manage a "Top" location cafe with multiple components and stations
Implement and successfully execute high-end events during the early evening hours
Some travel into NYC at times when needed
Build and maintain a positive relationship with the client

Preferred Qualifications:

Culinary degree preferred
Innovative, and diligent Chef
Three to five years of culinary management experience preferably in high-end corporate dining accounts
High-volume production and catering experience is crucial
Previous experience leading cost controls
Desire to learn and grow with an outstanding food service company
