Job Overview:

Duties:

- Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan and execute pastry orders for catering events
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring ingredient levels and placing orders as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety guidelines
- Stay updated on current pastry trends and techniques to continuously improve skills
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Cook or similar role in a professional kitchen or bakery
- Knowledge of pastry techniques, including dough preparation, baking, decorating, and plating
- Familiarity with food production processes in the food industry
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of pastry orders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred
