The Teacher Assistant supports and assists the classroom Teacher in designing and implementing a comprehensive program to meet the educational, emotional, social, health, nutritional, and psychological needs of children within the Head Start Program in accordance with the Head Start Performance Standards
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required:
Associates of Arts Degree from an accredited college or University with a major in Early Childhood Education or a degree that includes six Early Childhood Education classes and one year related experience in a pre-school teaching environment.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or University with a major in Early Childhood Education or a degree that includes six Early Childhood Education classes and one year related experience in a pre-school teaching environment.
