Community Pharmacy on Teasley is Hiring a Customer Care Coordinator Near Denton, TX

Description

Are you highly social and energetic? Have you been told you have patience and are a team player? We are looking for a Customer Service Clerk. The clerk will work the front end and gift area of our pharmacy. This clerk would be expected to lift up to 30lbs. and must be able to stand for 6-8 hours a day. No certification is necessary.

Responsibilities of the Customer Care Coordinator include the following:

  1. Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner in all interactions with patients.
  2. Route patient referrals to the appropriate department or individual(s) in the company.
  3. Communicate patient information necessary to schedule home medical equipment services.
  4. Determine correct resolution to patient complaints; take corrective action, and monitor results.
  5. Establish and maintain patient records.
  6. Communicate with billing department to ensure proper billing to insurance companies, contracts, other third party payers and patients for all products and services delivered; maintain accurate billing records.
  7. Participate in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies. 
  8. Participate in the company’s Performance Improvement program as requested by the Performance Improvement Coordinator. 
  9. Participate in company committees when requested.
  10. Participate in in-service education programs provided by the company.
  11. Report any misconduct, suspicious or unethical activities to the Compliance Officer.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Organizational skills sufficient to maintain consistently accurate records.
  2. Experience in Customer Service.
  3. Ability to evaluate options and to make efficient decisions.
  4. Organizational skills sufficient to maintain consistently accurate records.
  5. Computer skills that include proficiency with spreadsheets and use of the internet, as well as word processing, and efficient use of the internet and e-mail.
