Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in need, promoting their independence and enhancing their quality of life. Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with daily living activities
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules
- Assist with meal planning and preparation
- Support individuals in participating in recreational activities and community outings
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided using Therap electronic health record
- Collaborate with team members and management to ensure coordinated care
- Implement behavior management strategies as directed by supervisors and Licensed Behavior Specialist

Requirements:
- Previous experience home care, assisted living, or related field is preferred but not necessary, paid training is provided
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to effectively communicate with individuals of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Experience in childcare or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.50 - $16.25 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
