CNC Programmer / laser machinery

About the job:
Currently searching for a CNC Programmer who has experience working with sheet metal and programming machinery to create CNC sheet metal programs for both a CO2 / fiber laser and punch press machines using Radan CAD CAM software.
Responsibilities:

• Develop CNC sheet metal programs for both a CO2/fiber laser and punch press machines using Radan CAD CAM software.
• Read and interpret drawings to determine dimensions and to choose cutting tools, machine speeds and feed rates.
• Must be able to multi-task, remain flexible to shifting priorities and possess excellent communication skills.
• Must follow all safety rules and quality standards including all company policies and procedures.
• Perform the job assignments in a safe and productive manner while maintaining high quality levels.
• Adheres to standardized work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
• Keeps work areas clean and organized while taking care of all equipment and facilities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required:

• HS diploma. (preference to trade school or advanced degree).
• Must have 2-5 years of experience in CNC Programming in machine manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Radan CAD CAM Software for sheet metal cutting or equivalent program.
• Experience in CNC programming for both punch and laser machines.
• Familiar with TRUMPF punch press, Mitsubishi, and Prima laser machines.
• Versed in MS Office Products.
• Must possess an understanding of production procedures.
• High level of attention to detail
• Must have excellent time management skills and work ethic.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
