Injection Mold Set-Up Technician
Hours: Monday-Friday from 7:00am - 3:30pm
(Overtime as needed).

About the job:
Perform the set-up and operating functions for production plastic parts in the injection mold machinery.
Responsibilities:

• Set-Up Mold Technician.
• Install and remove injection molds in the injection molding machinery.
• Installs and removes auxiliary equipment necessary for the injection mold and or injection molding machine.
• Sets and adjusts injection molding machine to set-up parameters.
• Troubleshoots and corrects injection molding machine operations.
• Diagnoses basic mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems with equipment.
• Completes checklists as required.
• Performs routine preventative maintenance on injection molding machines.

Required:

• HS diploma. (preferred to have apprenticeship or trade school)
• 2 years working with manufacturing machinery.
• 1 year of working in plastic manufacturing company. (preferred)
• Experience with quality assurance of manufactured products. (visual inspection of parts being produced, can determine colors and variances of shades per customer specifications. )
• Experience with generating reports.
• MS Office for computer reporting.
