By joining our Kentucky Motor Vehicle Commission as a Program Coordinator in Franklin County, you’ll have the opportunity to coordinate all inter- or intra-unit administrative functions of a specific program on a statewide basis.

Holders of the Program Coordinator position will complete tasks such as:

• Communicates procedural and program changes to program staff, program recipients, and local jurisdictional parties.
• Reviews and interprets laws, regulations, policy and procedures to the public.
• Reviews, organizes, and recommends as necessary to applicant's the application status before the Commission.

Holders of this job will obtain the following skills:

• Able to create and give presentations to the public.
• Experience or knowledge in the review of applications and/or licensing procedures.
• Enhanced research skills.

Desired candidates possess the following requisite skills or experience applicable to the position: Public Speaking

Additional Information: Extensive statewide travel required with overnight stays, maintain a valid Kentucky Driver License.

Incumbents working in this job title primarily perform duties in an office setting. Minimal travel may be required.

Probationary Period

This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
