Experience

Minimum 6 months recent acute care experience as a hospital attendant.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Certified Nurse Assistant Program

Licensure

C.N.A. License-CT NA

Must have American Heart Association BLS certification-CT CPRBLS

Experience in care of the aged. Basic knowledge of medical terminology. Basic knowledge of transport techniques. Complete annual safety training. Complete and maintain department specific training. Ability to read and speak English clearly and be understood. Demonstrated skill in EKG interpretation (85% score obtained on hospital test).
