About the Role 

We are looking for a People Operations Coordinator reporting to our Associate Director, Talent who will assist our recruiting efforts by scheduling interviews, perform screening calls and review applications. This individual will also sit on our larger People Operations team and assist this function in HRIS housekeeping auditing, as well as handling some admin functions for the VP of People. We are looking for someone who is extremely organized and really eager to learn about the People Operations function.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule phone and onsite/video interviews, and provide confirmations for the candidates
  • Builds and fosters relationships with hiring managers ensuring excellent customer service
  • Maintain and help build out candidate profiles in Greenhouse, our Applicant Tracking System
  • Create new job requisitions and manage the maintenance of all jobs in Greenhouse
  • Post positions to our website and job boards as necessary
  • Assist with the movement and flow of candidates during their on-site/remote interviews
  • Assist with HRIS support, configuration, and maintenance, including running reports, audits, researching and resolving HRIS data issues as they arise
  • Assist with admin onboarding tasks such as creating personal folders, adding to pertinent slack channels and calendars
  • Handle all office management duties, such as ordering supplies equipment, and office snacks 
  • Manage and maintain all company-wide calendars with the assistance of the Associate Director of Investor Relations Strategy
  • Manage mail in our NYC office and distribute/scan to correct teams
  • Assist the AR team with check processing
  • & other ad hoc projects from time to time

Qualifications

  • You have exceptional discretion and are comfortable handling multiple tasks at once
  • You are self-motivated and are able to manage and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-moving environment
  • You are highly organized and detail oriented and have the ability to communicate effectively and clearly
  • Discretion and ability to handle confidential matters
  • Someone with a growth mindset who is looking to gain exposure to all HR functions; Talent Development, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, and People Partnering
  • 1-2 years of experience working as an HR coordinator or within a recruiting team
  • BA or BS Degree Required in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience
  • Prior experience in a startup environment is preferred
  • Strong analytical capability; proficiency with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
  • Must be local to NYC as this is an in-office position

*This role is in person four days a week at our NYC HQ by Grand Central. 

Compensation

  • $50,000-$55,000 based on experience
