Position at Common Ground Shift : 8 am - 4pm, typically Monday - Friday with after-hours occasionally required based on client needs.

Some weekend service for program outreach. Base pay : $22 - $24 About You This position will provide emergency mobile crisis intervention, advocacy, and support to human trafficking victims in multiple counties.

Responsible for evaluating individuals for program eligibility. Act as the liaison with relevant police departments, prosecutor’s office, community, and agency organizations.

• Provide direct mobile services to human trafficking victims and their families in multiple counties, including but not limited to : Crisis intervention, including telephone, on-scene face-to-face contactEligibility screening Provide information and referralsIntensive case managementSupport and advocacy during criminal investigations and law enforcement interventionEmergency advocacy at hospitals, medical proceedings, and police departmentsSupport and advocacy during court preparation including courtroom accompaniment
• Perform emergency screenings in a variety of community settings, including hospital emergency rooms, county and local jails, schools, shelters, community centers, etc.

What you need to apply

• Michigan Driver’s License with clean driving record
• Ability to utilize reliable personal transportation to ensure immediate response for community and crisis events (no transportation of people served in personal vehicle)
• Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is required
• Bi-lingual (Spanish, Arabic, or American Sign Language), preferred
• Lived experience, strongly preferred
• Experience working with survivors of human trafficking, strongly preferred
