Territory Manager / Outside Sales Representative
Region: Orlando Central Florida
Compensation: Base Salary with additional commission based on sales profitability as defined in offer letter
SUMMARY:
Regional sales position representing Commercial Energy Specialists – CES (an Aquafinity, LLC Company) in the field of Aquatic Water Quality Control systems and services; coordinates all sales functions for their assigned territory; generates new business and maintains current clients and sales relationships.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Utilizes CRM System to maintain lists of prospective customers based on information secured from solicitations, client lists, referrals, social media contacts, electronic mailings; the company web site, trade shows and other sources.
· Requires travel throughout the assigned territory calling on existing and prospective clients; communicates with clients through direct contact, email, text, and phone.
· Displays and demonstrates products using field trips, product samples, etc. while emphasizing value added support and saleable features.
· Works with project managers, customer service representatives and management teams to insure complete customer satisfaction.
· Works with CES team to assists in resolution of client questions or concerns
· Works with business development team to identify and explore new opportunities
· Provides management with weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on activities, goals and performance.
· Maintains daily communication with home office and support teams.
· Attends regional and state wide trades shows, “table tops”, association expos, etc. as necessary
· Provides client training and education as required.
· Works with CES team to create and implement annual territory sales plans and budgets.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· Commercial Swimming Pool Experience
· A 4-year college degree is recommended ( but not required) together with a minimum 5 years direct sales experience; Associated or trade degree with 5 years direct sales experience would be acceptable. Knowledge of water quality equipment and aquatic facilities is a plus. Full product and technical training is provided.
· REQUIRED SKILL SET:
o High level of computer knowledge including Microsoft Office products expertise.
o Knowledge of and experience with social media as a form of communication with clients
o Regular use of company CES ERP and CRM systems:
· Generating sales leads
· Creating project worksheets
· Conducting client research and development
· Sales analysis
· Generating email and broadcast client lists
· Submitting expense reimbursements
o Maintain and submit mileage and trip logs through CES ERP system
o Ability to generate clear and concise written communications with clients, support teams and management.
o Valid driver’s license and driver insurability.
o Ability to perform simple physical tasks such as reaching, lifting, stooping, kneeling; must be able to drive for long periods.
o Willing to travel including overnight stays.
o Exposure to occasional adverse weather conditions.
o Completion of (Company Provided) Aquatic Facility Operators (AFO) training within one year of employment.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
· Sales representatives will devote full time and attention to CES business, and during the tenure of employment will not engage in any other business activity regardless of whether such activity is pursued for profit, gain or other advantage
· Employee will dedicate as much time and energy is necessary to obtain sales and profitability goals as set jointly with business development and management.
· Sales rep must advise management of any time away from work for personal matters.
· Sales representatives agree never to reveal company information to parties outside of CES in regard to client records, products, pricing, and any other company trade secret or proprietary information.
· Expenses will be reimbursed as per CES’s expense reimbursement policy as stated in the current employee policy manual.
