Caregiver Job Description: Comfort Keepers Caregivers provide companion and personal care to our clients’ non-medical needs, with a focus on interactive caregiving, in accordance with an established plan of care. Some of these duties include:
Provides companionship and assistance with daily activities including dressing guidance, grooming, meal preparations, medication reminders, running errands, laundry and light housekeeping.
Personal care including bathing, dressing, mobility, incontinence care, feeding, and bed bound care.
Provides transportation to doctor's appointments, grocery store, outings, etc.
Requirements:
Valid drivers license, auto insurance in your name, your own reliable transportation, and a clean driving record
Paid or personal experience as a caregiver AND comfortable performing personal care duties including showering, toileting, and lifting up to 25 pounds
Must live in Wake County or just outside Wake County border
Must be willing and able to pass random drug testing
Clear local, state, and national background check
High School diploma/GED
