Caregiver Job Description: Comfort Keepers Caregivers provide companion and personal care to our clients’ non-medical needs, with a focus on interactive caregiving, in accordance with an established plan of care. Some of these duties include:

• Provides companionship and assistance with daily activities including dressing guidance, grooming, meal preparations, medication reminders, running errands, laundry and light housekeeping.

• Personal care including bathing, dressing, mobility, incontinence care, feeding, and bed bound care.

• Provides transportation to doctor's appointments, grocery store, outings, etc.

Requirements:

• Valid drivers license, auto insurance in your name, your own reliable transportation, and a clean driving record

• Paid or personal experience as a caregiver AND comfortable performing personal care duties including showering, toileting, and lifting up to 25 pounds

• Must live in Wake County or just outside Wake County border

• Must be willing and able to pass random drug testing

• Clear local, state, and national background check

• High School diploma/GED
