Job Overview:
Mon-Fri 2pm to 6pm. Must have clean background and outgoing personality.
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of care. The ideal candidate will have experience in direct support and possess a strong understanding of patient care.
Duties:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders
- Monitor and record vital signs as required
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Respect and uphold resident rights and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Provide care to individuals with diverse needs, including those with autism, hospice patients, and children
- Support individuals in hospice care with dignity and compassion
Experience:
- Prior experience in caregiving or related field is preferred
- Knowledge of working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder is a plus
- Familiarity with hospice care practices is beneficial
- Understanding of patient care protocols and best practices
