Job Summary:
Always Best Care Senior Services in Raleigh, NC is seeking experienced and compassionate Part-Time Caregivers/PCAs to provide quality in-home care for our clients in Cary and surrounding areas. This is a Part-Time position offering a salary of $16 - $18 per hour and the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of seniors. As a caregiver, you will have the invaluable opportunity to make a difference in the daily lives of our clients and provide them with the care and support they need to maintain their independence and quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Plan and prepare meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences
- Provide companionship and emotional support for clients
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks
- Assist clients with medication reminders and ensure they take their medications as prescribed
- Accompany clients on errands and appointments
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of care provided
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the care team to ensure the best care for the client
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and protocols
Requirements:
- At least 3 years experience as a caregiver, CNA, or PCA is preferred
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a desire to help others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to different situations and provide high-quality care to clients with varying needs
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and bend, lift, and stand for extended periods of time
