Comcate is Hiring a Product Manager Near Oakland, CA

Comcate is looking for a Product Manager to join our team. The Product Manager manages the successful development and implementation of the product from beginning to end. This person sees strategic ideas from design and testing to execution and market introduction.

The ideal candidate will have the ability and desire to identify customer and market needs and lead the delivery of new products and features.

  • Can you engage an old-school, paper-loving inspector to move to a mobile app?
  • Can you figure out a way to integrate Twilio and Business Intelligence Tools to better communicate with agency staff and the executive team?
  • Can you help citizens have a positive experience with their government?

Responsibilities:

  • Customer journeys and user funnels ability to learn, empathize, and add value to core customer journeys and user funnels in the product
  • Manage product releases Draft and distribute product briefs to ensure the smooth introduction of each new release. Answer questions and troubleshoot issues throughout the release lifecycle. This includes partnering with the client success organization to drive awareness.
  • Practice customer-centric development Work with clients to understand their unique needs and pain points. Capture and share client feedback with the team to best investigate ways to create a solution. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure features and functionality are meeting market needs in new and innovative ways. Report the success of the products and strategize improvements needed.
  • Agile Management Excited about rolling up your sleeves and working tactically with the team. This means running daily rituals like scrum, backlog grooming, planning, and retrospective for a cross-functional team. Monitor the progress of issues and provide solutions for the development team.
  • Prepare and deliver product requirements: lead all aspects of sprint deliverables. This includes creation requirements, grooming stories, creating tickets, UAT and communicating to team deliverables.

What you need to focus on to be successful in this role:

  • Your ability to add value to the core product funnels in a way that adds value for our customers
  • Your ability to ship meaningful and valuable work on a predictable and consistent basis
  • Your ability to collaborate with customers in a way that builds partnership, transparency, and trust
  • Your ability to develop deep product and industry expertise
  • Your ability to lead your development team to execute against the goals of the company

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 4 years experience in product management. Were open to exploring a Senior Product Management position for the right candidate
  • Proven results influencing stakeholders and displaying improvements
  • Ability to translate complex problems and ideas into easily understood descriptions

  • This is a remote position in the US
