Company: Latin Chamber of Commerce Location: East-Central Las Vegas Position: Administrative Assistant Salary: $14.00hr Full-time Job Description for Administrative Assistant for the Latin Chamber of Commerce, Nevada Inc. Administrative Assistant Job Purpose: Enhances effectiveness by providing information management support. Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately; notifies company personnel of visitor arrival; maintains security and telecommunications system. Administrative Assistant Job Duties: •Produces information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics. •Completes requests by greeting visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries. •Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential. •Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. •Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures. •Verifies entered member and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data; combining data from both systems when account information is incomplete; purging files to eliminate duplication of data. •Provides historical reference by utilizing filing and retrieval systems. •Maintains technical knowledge. •Checks in attendees for Latin Chamber of Commerce events; taking payments for events and writing out receipts for attendees. •Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. •Writes letters to members, sponsors, public officials and etc. •Create e-blasts and event flyers using Canva or Adobe Software. •Maintains and updates any changes on company website, keeping all events and links up to date. and regular maintenance.
