What you will do: We are looking for a Manager of Business Intelligence who can help shape our vision and support our mission. Here is what the role will look like:Support the mission and vision of the IT organization to foster a business-oriented culture and mindset driven by continual service improvement techniques.Act as a trusted advisor and builds and maintains relationships with other IT leaders and business leaders to develop a clear understanding of business needs; ensures cost-effective delivery of development services to meet those needs and is able to respond with agility to changing business priorities.Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.Design and build technical processes to address business issues.Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions and key operations and performance metrics.Provides leadership, coaching and direction to the business intelligence team.Ensure accuracy of data and deliverables of reporting employees with comprehensive policies and processes.Develop and implement quality controls and departmental standards to ensure quality standards, organizational expectations, and regulatory requirements. What you will bring: Education: Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare related area, statistics, computer systems, finance or accounting; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education may substitute with a preference for four years of progressive relevant work experience and three years of supervisory experience. Experience: A minimum of five years of experience in a healthcare data related field is a requirement, except in special circumstances. The position also requires significant and demonstrated experience with advanced data reporting and analysis methods. Candidates with enterprise experience utilizing PowerBI are strongly preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Expertise with SQL, consisting of at least five years of SQL experience, is a requirement for the candidate to be successful in this role. Significant experience with data management and query tools is also necessary, including the use of Microsoft PowerBI, Toad, Business Objects, Python, or other similar tools. Additionally, they will need expert understanding of health benefits, medical terminology, medical procedures, and managed care industry; expertise with CPT, ICD and other coding systems; demonstrated analytical, problem solving, and research ability as evidenced by experience in the identification of requirements and the definition, evaluation, and selection of appropriate solutions to business problems or opportunities. Excellent communication, collaboration and delegation skills. Ability to work independently on multiple projects and lead junior to senior-level analysts. Licenses/Certifications: A valid driver's license and proof of current auto insurance will be required for any position requiring driving. Pay, Perks and Benefits at Colorado Access: The compensation for this position is $136,200.00 to $150,000.00 annually. The pay rate/salary is commensurate with experience.
