This person will be the SME for NCQA accreditation.Here is what the role will look like:Facilitates multidisciplinary improvement initiatives using standard process improvement, project management and change management methods and tools; partners with project champions to lead initiatives and measure results over time. Identifies project champions and forms and facilitates improvement teams and team meetings; leads teams in identifying problem, aim, scope and measures and designing, implementing, measuring and monitoring targeted improvement interventions. Manages dependencies and ensures transparency and alignment between and across teams; develops and communicates detailed plans and project status updates for complex initiatives, while anticipating, communicating, assessing, mitigating, and pro-actively managing risks. Effectively supports project goal and measure design, documentation and data management; research best practices, trends, and historical and current data, including related laws, policies and procedures and synthesizes relevant data into meaningful formats to facilitate action. Develops data collection plans; conducts measurement system analysis and partners with technical team members to analyze, interpret and summarize data to support root cause analysis and measurement of results over time. Serves as a subject matter expert and maintains detailed understanding of key performance indicators, metrics and contract deliverables related to organizational, network, practice and provider performance on QI initiatives; acts as consultant on quality improvement Initiatives, goal setting and measures that impact work across the organization. Leads survey preparation, management and compliance monitoring activities. What you will bring: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare related field is required, including Public Health, and Business Administration. An equivalent combination of education and experience can be substituted in lieu of degree. Master’s degree is preferred. Experience: Minimum of five years’ progressive healthcare quality assessment and/or process improvement experience and/or project management experience. Experience working with National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) is required. Experience with Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) and National Quality Forum (NQF) programs and measures preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Demonstrated ability to think strategically about complex issues, develop recommendations, strategic objectives and action plans. Solid knowledge of the healthcare environment. Skilled in process improvement with demonstrated ability to conduct research and formulate data-driven action plans. Demonstrates support for the company’s mission, vision and values. Position requires excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, strong organizational skills and teamwork skills. Skilled in achieving project objectives through influence, critical thinking and collaboration, demonstrating a high-level of accountability and attention to detail. Must be proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point) and able to work with a variety of performance management, process improvement and project management tools. May be required to manage multiple priorities and projects with tight deadlines. Licenses/Certifications: Lean Six Sigma and/or Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred. A valid driver's license and proof of current auto insurance will be required for any position requiring driving.
