**Description**
The Williamsburg Inn: The Inn was built in 1937 by John D. Rockefeller, Jr., who envisioned an exquisite lodging and dining experience for visitors to his extensive restoration of Virginia's colonial capital. A member of Preferred Hotels and Resorts Worldwide and a National Trust for Historic Preservation Historic Hotel of America, the Four Star, Four Diamond Williamsburg Inn is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Inn has been listed among Travel and Leisure Magazine's Top 100 Hotels in the World and Conde Nast Traveler Magazine's Top 100 Hotels in the world.
Assists servers with clearing tables.
Provides water and coffee service.
Provides bread and butter throughout service.
Prepares dining room station before line up.
Replenishes linen as necessary.
Resets tables to standard.
Assures by any necessary means cleanliness of glassware and silverware.
Takes necessary precautions to avoid breakage of glassware and dinnerware.
Provides sufficient amount of folded napkins for service.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
6 months to one year of food service or restaurant experience
Demonstrated excellent public contact skills
Must be available to work all shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to: (1) interact effectively with guests, employees and supervisors; (2) maintain standards listed below
In accordance with child labor laws, applicants must be 16 years of age in order to work various schedules
Physical requirements include, but are not limited to: (1) lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds; (2) working while standing for long periods of time
